The Pearl
Of Africa
Warm in every season. Home to half the world's mountain gorillas. Rich in culture, generous in spirit — and crowned by the snow-capped Mountains of the Moon.

Is Uganda Safe for Travel?
What’s
Included
In Your
Trip
Every journey to Uganda is designed to move you — through wilderness, through culture, through moments that stay long after you return. From the flight that brings you here to the last meal under an open sky, each detail is thought through and taken care of. You arrive with nothing to arrange and everything to discover. What follows is what every Territory Explorers Uganda itinerary holds — great memories.
I
Inbound
Air Travel
Where the itinerary calls for it, scheduled or charter flights are arranged and included — so the journey begins well before the bush does. No layover confusion, no separate bookings.
II
Gorilla Trekking Permits
Government-issued permits for gorilla trekking are strictly limited and must be secured far in advance. For itineraries that include Bwindi or Mgahinga, yours are obtained and confirmed before you travel
III
Ground
Transportation
All overland movement is in a custom 4x4 Land Cruiser safari vehicle — built for Uganda's terrain and fitted for comfort on long drives between parks. Your vehicle travels with you throughout.
IV
Accommodation
Each lodge is chosen for how close it brings you to the wild — not for distance from it. Intimate, carefully considered properties that let the sounds, sights, and rhythms of the bush reach you where you rest.
V
All
Activities
Every game drive, guided walk, boat safari, and park excursion listed in your itinerary is included. Nothing is an afterthought — if it's on the programme, it's taken care of
VI
Chimpanzee
Trekking Permits
For itineraries that pass through Kibale Forest or Kyambura Gorge, chimpanzee trekking permits are arranged alongside your other documentation — no separate process, no last-minute uncertainty.
VII
Professional
Driver-Guides
Your guide is also your driver — fluent in English and other languages on request, deeply familiar with Uganda's parks, and unhurried enough to stop when the moment asks for it. They are the difference between seeing and understanding
VIII
All Meals
From early bush breakfasts before a morning trek to dinners under open sky, meals are included throughout your journey. Sourced locally where possible, prepared with care at every property.
