Day 1 | Nairobi – Gateway to Kenya’s Wildlife
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you will be met and welcomed by your safari team before transferring to your Nairobi hotel.
The rest of the day is yours to relax after your international flight. If your schedule allows, you can visit the Giraffe Centre or enjoy a game drive in Nairobi National Park. Alternatively, explore some of the city’s restaurants, galleries and craft shops.

Days 2–3 | Ol Pejeta – Conservation & Wildlife
After breakfast, leave Nairobi behind and travel north towards the Laikipia Plateau. The drive takes you through flower-growing regions, rural communities and lively market towns before reaching Ol Pejeta Conservancy, where the dramatic peaks of Mount Kenya provide a spectacular backdrop.
Settle into Ol Pejeta Bush Camp and begin exploring the conservancy on game drives. The area supports an impressive range of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo and both black and white rhinos.
One of the highlights is a visit to the protected enclosure of the world’s last two northern white rhinos. Learn from the rangers about the intensive conservation efforts dedicated to protecting these critically endangered animals and preserving their genetic future.
Your safari continues after dark with the opportunity for a night drive, revealing a very different side of Ol Pejeta as nocturnal wildlife becomes active.
Back at camp, relax beside the fireplace with a drink and listen to the sounds of the conservancy around you. The camp’s eight spacious tents feature en-suite bathrooms, flushing toilets and hot running water, including a dedicated family tent.

Days 4–5 | Maasai Mara – The Great Migration
After breakfast, transfer to the local airstrip for a light-aircraft flight to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. On arrival, meet your guide and continue to Rekero Camp, beautifully positioned above the Talek River.
The camp sits close to an important Great Migration river-crossing area, making it an exceptional base for experiencing the Mara during migration season. In August and September, the herds are typically in the reserve, creating opportunities to witness some of the most dramatic wildlife scenes in East Africa.
Spend your days on twice-daily game drives in search of lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs and other wildlife. Breakfast can be enjoyed at camp or taken out into the bush for a more immersive experience.
For another perspective, an early-morning hot-air balloon flight can be arranged at an additional cost, offering sweeping views of the Mara from above.
Between activities, slow down with a siesta, relax on your private veranda or enjoy the views from the camp deck. Afternoon tea and cake precede your evening game drive, followed by sundowners and time around the campfire before dinner.

Days 6–8 | Naboisho Conservancy – Wild & Exclusive
Wake to the sounds of birds and wildlife around camp before enjoying your final breakfast overlooking the Talek River. Then depart the Maasai Mara on a game-drive transfer towards the nearby Mara Naboisho Conservancy.
Naboisho offers a more intimate safari setting, with limited camps and vehicles helping to preserve the character of the wilderness. Along the way, your guide will introduce you to the conservancy model and explain how wildlife conservation works alongside the communities that own and manage these landscapes.
Explore the conservancy through day and night game drives, with opportunities to encounter elephants, giraffes, cheetahs and large concentrations of lions. Walking safaris offer a closer look at the smaller details of the ecosystem, while visits to a local Maasai community and the Maa Trust provide insight into conservation and community initiatives.
Your stay is at Naboisho Camp, a boutique property refurbished in 2023. Its nine spacious tents feature king-size or twin beds, generous en-suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor hot showers and private verandas overlooking the savannah.
Spend quiet moments on your veranda with a morning coffee, relax between game drives or gather around camp as the day gives way to another spectacular African sunset.

Day 9 | Nairobi – Farewell to Kenya
Enjoy a final breakfast before heading out on a last game drive to the airstrip. From here, board a light aircraft for your flight back to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport.
On arrival, an Asilia driver and vehicle will transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight, bringing your Kenyan safari to a close.
