3 Days Gorilla Safari Experience

After breakfast, meet our company representative at your hotel. From there, you will travel to the lush rainforest in southwestern Uganda, home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorillas. On the way, you will stop in Kayabwe to take photos at the Uganda equator and shop for souvenirs. Lunch will be served in Mbarara town. Afterward, continue to Bwindi, where you will have dinner and spend the night at your safari lodge.

Start your day with an early breakfast and a briefing at the Bwindi National Park headquarters, then head out for mountain gorilla tracking in the Bwindi forest. Bring drinking water, a rain jacket, and jungle boots; rangers will give you a walking stick. When you find the gorillas, you’ll have an hour to watch them in their natural habitat. This is an experience you’ll remember for a long time. Gorilla tracking is a special activity, perfect for taking photos and observing these amazing animals. Afterward, return to the lodge to relax. If you still have energy, you can take a village walk to see daily life in a Ugandan community or visit Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxing boat ride. Dinner and overnight stay will be at your booked lodge.

After breakfast, you will set out on a scenic drive through rolling hills and terraced landscapes, often called the "Switzerland of Africa." You can see how the Bakiga people carefully farm the mountain slopes and enjoy the area's cool climate. During the journey, you will stop for a hot lunch. Later, continue to Kampala and arrive in the late afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or at Entebbe airport for your departure.
