This 4-day fly-in safari is perfect for travelers who want to meet mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park without spending hours on the road. After you arrive in Entebbe and spend the night, you’ll take a short domestic flight to Kisoro in southwestern Uganda, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.

The highlight of your trip is a guided trek to see gorillas in the dense forest. You can also choose to visit Batwa villages or enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi. On your last day, you’ll fly back to Entebbe and have time for a city tour before heading home. All meals, accommodation, gorilla permits, and domestic flights are included, so you get a full safari experience in just a few days.

Day 01 :

Arrive at the airport and transfer to your hotel.

When you land at Entebbe International Airport, our company representative will greet you and take you to your booked accommodation for rest and an overnight stay.

Day 02 :

Pick up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe, drive to Entebbe Airstrip, and fly to Kisoro Airstrip. Transfer by road to the lodge for overnight.

After being pickedup from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe, you will drive to Entebbe Airstrip for your flight to Kisoro Airstrip. Upon arrival, you will be transferred by road to the lodge for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, meet our company representative at your hotel. You will then head to Entebbe for your domestic flight to southwestern Uganda, home to the lush rainforest that shelters nearly half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. Upon arrival, our representative will transfer you to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03 :

Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest.

After an early breakfast and a briefing at Bwindi National Park headquarters, you will begin your mountain gorilla tracking adventure in the Bwindi forest. Bring drinking water, a rain jacket, and jungle boots; rangers will provide a walking stick. Gorilla tracking offers a unique chance to photograph and observe these amazing animals.

Afterward, return to the lodge to relax. If you have energy in the afternoon, you can take a village walk to see local Ugandan life or visit Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxing boat ride. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 04 :

Drive to Kisoro Airstrip for your mid-morning flight to Kampala or Entebbe airport. If your departure is in the evening, enjoy a city tour around Entebbe while you wait for your flight.

After breakfast, get on board for a scenic journey to Kisoro Airstrip through the beautiful terrain of the rolling hills with terraced landscape, an area referred as the "Switzerland of Africa". Observe the systematic cultivation of the Bakiga along the mountain slopes and enjoy the experience of what has been referred to as the Switzerland of Africa because of its cool nature.

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport for your evening departure flight home. If your flight is later in the evening, you can enjoy a city tour around Entebbe before you leave.
