Overview

This 14-day safari explores some of Uganda’s most stunning landscapes and wildlife spots, blending nature, culture, and adventure. Starting in Entebbe, you head north to Murchison Falls National Park to track endangered white rhinos at Ziwa Sanctuary, cruise the Victoria Nile to see hippos and elephants, and hike up to the impressive Murchison Falls.

Next, you travel south to Kibale Forest National Park for chimpanzee trekking. Then, you visit the misty hills of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where the highlight is seeing mountain gorillas in the wild. The trip also includes stops at the scenic shores of Lake Mutanda and Lake Bunyonyi, where you can canoe, swim, and relax.

The trip also includes cultural experiences, such as visits to the Mubako community, the Batwa people, and the Igongo Cultural Centre. The safari ends with a drive through Kampala to see the city’s historic landmarks before you leave from Entebbe. Day 10: Go golden monkey trekking in the Virunga region, then visit the Batwa community in the evening.

Day 01 :

Arrival in Entebbe – Hotel Check-in and Leisure

When you arrive at Entebbe International Airport, our safari guide will greet you and welcome you to Uganda. You’ll be taken to your hotel, where you can rest after your journey or take a short city drive if time allows. Enjoy the lively city views as you settle in. Meals are served at the hotel, and the staff will make sure you are comfortable during your stay.

Day 02 :

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary & Night Game Drive

After an early breakfast, you’ll head north to Murchison Falls National Park. On the way, you’ll stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided walk to see endangered white rhinos in their natural habitat.
Lunch is served at the sanctuary before you continue your drive through scenic savannah woodlands and rural communities. When you arrive at the lodge, you can freshen up before heading out for a night game drive with an armed ranger. Using spotlights, you’ll have the chance to see nocturnal wildlife, including lions, leopards, hyenas, and rock pythons as they hunt.

Day 03 :

Morning Boat Safari on the Victoria Nile & Mubako Community Visit

Early in the morning, enjoy breakfast at the lodge before setting off on a boat safari along the Victoria Nile. You’ll cruise upstream toward the base of Murchison Falls, with great chances to see elephants, giraffes, hippos, waterbucks, Nile crocodiles, and many bird species along the riverbanks.
Return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax. In the evening, visit the Mubako community to enjoy traditional dances, music, and storytelling by the Mubako Women Group around a campfire. Dinner is served afterward, and you’ll stay overnight at the lodge.

Day 04 :

Guided Hike to the Top of Murchison Falls & Evening Sundowner

After breakfast, take a guided hike to the Top of Murchison Falls, where you’ll see the Nile River squeeze through a narrow 7–8 meter gorge. Enjoy the cool mist and dramatic views as you hike to the viewpoint and back. Have lunch at a local restaurant before returning to the lodge. In the late afternoon, enjoy a bush sundowner and watch the sunset in the wilderness. Dinner and overnight stay are at the lodge.

Day 05 :

Early Morning Game Drive & Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After checking out, have breakfast and set out for an early morning game drive across the savannah plains of Murchison Falls National Park. You’ll see animals active after the night and enjoy a beautiful sunrise over the park. Next, drive toward Kibale Forest National Park, stopping for lunch in Hoima town. When you arrive, check in at the lodge and later visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, famous for its birdlife and community tourism. Watch for birds like the Great Blue Turaco and other forest animals before heading back to the lodge at sunset.

Day 06 :

Chimpanzee Trekking & Afternoon Wellness Experience

Have an early breakfast, then meet the park rangers for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking. You’ll enter the forest with experienced guides to look for habituated chimpanzees. Spend time watching the chimpanzees interact, feed, and move through the forest canopy.

Day 13 :

Transfer to Kampala via Equator and relaxation at the hotel

Kampala City Tour & Departure

After breakfast or lunch, take a half-day tour of Kampala, visiting Kabaka’s Palace and Lake, Bulange Mengo, Kasubi Tombs, Rubaga and Namirembe Cathedrals, and Gaddafi Mosque. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant to remember your Ugandan experience, then transfer to Entebbe for your departure flight.
