Desire is the Founder and CEO of Territory Explorers, a tourism company reshaping how travelers experience Uganda and East Africa. With a degree in Travel and Tourism Management from Makerere University and years of hands-on experience with safari companies and the Uganda Conservation Foundation, he brings both passion and purpose to every journey. A multiple award winner in the hospitality industry, he has been recognized for his innovative approach to sustainable tourism. What started as simply showing friends around Uganda’s hidden corners evolved into a mission: to tell Africa’s tourism story through African voices and ensure that the communities who have safeguarded these wild spaces for generations benefit directly from sharing them. When not planning expeditions, crafting marketing campaigns that invite rather than sell, or working with local communities, he can be found behind a camera capturing the soul of Uganda and East Africa at large —misty mountain gorilla forests, golden sunsets over acacia trees, and the genuine smiles of village elders. He believes tourism should transform both the traveler and the traveled, one authentic connection at a time.
