Overview
The Rwenzori Mountaineering Adventure takes you on an unforgettable trek through Uganda’s famous “Mountains of the Moon.” The Rwenzori Mountains National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, covers almost 1,000 square kilometers and is home to Africa’s third-highest peak, snowy summits, glaciers, alpine meadows, and green montane forests.
On this expedition, you’ll follow the Mahoma Circuit Trail, known for its beautiful scenery and rewarding experience. You’ll hike through bamboo forests, mossy valleys, and rocky ridges, discovering unique plants, birds, and amazing views of the Albertine Rift Valley along the way.
